The Hunger Games p.160-167

               Disaster strikes as soon as Katniss thinks she is safe, but she wasn't. In the middle of the night, around 2, a blazing fire struck the area. Katniss is forced to flee, and the blaze almost takes her life. Fortunately, she didn't die, but she did get a first degree burn that could be fatal. As soon as the fire is over, Katniss runs to the water and it cools off her burn, but she doesn't think she will make it much longer. Yet, just when Katniss was about to give up hope, a small parachute is flown down from the sky. It contains a medicine for Katniss to put on her burn so it will go away completely. Katnisss thanks Haymitch outlound because she knew that Haymitch got her enough sponsors to get a medicine. Medication is really hard to get in the Hunger Games, almost scarce, but Katniss did it.
