Uglies p. 126-140

            Tally has finally made it to The Smoke, but before she got there, she went through a little trouble. She woke up one morning, and she was surrounded by flames. She was choking because the fumes were so terrible. She fell into the water, but something brought her back up, they were Pretties! Tally wondered why they were so close to the smoke, but her question was answered pretty quickly. They told her that they were part of another prettytown, and they were burning the plants to make sure they didn't spred everywhere. Tally was confused because she thought Pretties were so eco-friendly. We wonder what will happen to Tally next!
