The Uglies p.81-110

             Tally has just found out she can't have the operation. It was her birthday, and she was about to have the operation. Then all of a sudden, Special Circumstances bursts into operating room and says there is a problem with the operation. The Specials take Tally into a white room and ask her questions about Shay. They had found news that she had gone missing, and they won't turn Tally pretty until she tells The Specials where Shay is.
