The Hunger Games p. 130-137
Katniss wakes up and realizes that her breakfast that morning, was the last one she was going to eat in the Capitol. Today, the games begin. Katniss is extremely confident that if she doesn't die today, she will die tomorrow. When Cianna comes in that morning to bring her the clothes for the arena, a plain gray suit and a braid right down the back of her head, he tells her that she was always his number one pick. She though he was sweet, but she knew it probably wasn't true. Cianna led her to the tube where she would be sent into the arena, his last words to her were good luck. Before she knew it she was looking upon a jungle, this was where the blood bath was going to happen. Her goal was to make it to the Cornucopia, alive. The Cornucopia held a backpack for each person in the arena. Half of the people die before they make it to the Cornucopia. So that means double of the necesseties for the people who made it. She had only thirty more seconds left before she had to step onto the grass. Then she saw the first arrow
