The Healer by Dee Henderson p.103-189

             Rachel has just witnessed a crossfire between students. A couple of high school kids were shooting at each other, and Rachel almost got shot herself. Both of the shooters died, and so did a young exchange student, who was most likely studying, because she was holding a book. Rachel was also sad because when the police were searching the school for more bodies, she found one of her clients best friends, dead on the locker room floor.
